Ford to remain at Diuna for several more years
Ford Polska has extended its lease agreement for nearly 1,200 sq m of office space in Warsaw's Diuna, part of the Syrena Real Estate portfolio, until 2031. It is one of the first tenants of the Służewiec complex, having operated continuously at this location since February 2008.
Ford Polska Sp. z o.o. is responsible for the sale, marketing and servicing of Ford cars on the Polish market. It is part of the global Ford Motor Company, an international car manufacturer based in Dearborn, Michigan, USA. The company is listed on the NYSE. It designs, manufactures and sells Ford passenger cars, SUVs, delivery vehicles and pick-ups. The group's activities also include the development of electric and hybrid vehicles and digital solutions supporting individual users and business customers. The group employs approximately 170,000 people worldwide.
Ford Poland employs approximately 100 people, with some of the team, including zone managers and service engineers, also working in the field. The office operates on a hybrid model. As a result, the company has carried out a comprehensive modernisation of its space in Diuna, adapting it to the new working model and the current needs of the team. The layout of part of the office has been changed, and selected areas have been opened up to create new spaces for relaxation and informal meetings. At the same time, areas conducive to concentrated work and conversations requiring greater privacy have been set aside. The company's reception area also gained a new look. The modernisation also included technical improvements, including the replacement of lighting with energy-efficient solutions.
“Diuna is a proven and well-functioning location for us, so it was a natural step to extend the contract for another period. For over 18 years, this place has really supported the organisation of our work – both in terms of transport accessibility and the service facilities in the immediate vicinity. Convenient access, parking and bicycle infrastructure, as well as on-site amenities are important to our team. The possibility of installing dedicated electric car chargers for employees was also an important factor. The decision to stay was also reinforced by changes within the complex itself – the renovation of the entrance lobbies, the creation of a green patio and a new conference centre , which improve the comfort of everyday life – says Dorota Poniatowska-Marczuk, HR Manager, Ford Polska Sp. z o.o.
“Ford Poland’s long-standing presence in Diuna confirms that consistently raising the standard of the complex and developing shared functions responds to the real needs of tenants. We are delighted that the company has not only decided to remain in our development, but has also invested in the development of its own office space, adapting it to the changing model of work,” says Ewa Lubańska, leasing director at Syrena Real Estate.
Diuna, formerly known as Marynarska Business Park, has undergone a huge transformation. The office complex in Warsaw's Służewiec district has been adapted to current market standards, with changes including the revitalisation of outdoor areas and the redevelopment of the entrance lobbies of four buildings. The 6,000 sq m concrete car park has been transformed into a public park with 50 trees, 96 species of shrubs, a stream and an educational pavilion.
Following the modernisation, Diuna received BREEAM In Use certificates at the Excellent level, as well as WELL WSR and WiredScore certificates.
With a total usable area of 46,000 sq m, the complex is home to companies such as Accord, NewCold, Carrier Chłodnictwo, Colgate, Daikin Europe, Eurocash, Ford, Intrum, JDE, JDE Peet’s, Oceanic, S.C Johnson, FOUNDEVER, Business Lease, Leasing Team and WDX. The complex also houses a LUX MED clinic, a HARMONIA mental health clinic, a 24-hour Veterio veterinary clinic, a Green Caffè Nero café and a Gorąco Polecam café and bakery. The complex has 1,200 parking spaces on three underground levels of the car park.
