Sliding at Norblin Factory
Sliding at Norblin Factory
Norblin Factory in Warsaw has a new attraction for both children and those adults who still have an inner child within. A free-of-charge slide more than 13 metres long will take visitors to level -1 of the complex, right next to the Smart Kids Planet. This is a perfect choice for those who like alternative ways to get around.
Alongside the escalator and the panoramic lift, the slide which starts on level 0 in the Plater building will certainly be the most fun way to reach the lower level of the complex. This tube is 13.25 metres long, almost a metre wide and over 5.5 metres high. The user weight limit is 150 kg so the new attraction can be used alone and in pairs. Children under the age of seven must be accompanied by an adult during the slide.
“I am delighted that our new idea has come to fruition. We have added yet another attraction to our offer, addressed to families with children, and we couldn’t wait for it ourselves. Everyone needs a bit of madness sometimes. Now, in addition to the smart play centre, the carousel, the cinema and the museums, this huge slide will bring a lot of fun to children and adults alike. This is a gift to all guests from us as investors and managers of Norblin Factory,” said Kinga Nowakowska, Management Board Member and Chief Operating Officer of the Capital Park Group.
So far, families with children could discover the history of the complex at Żelazna 51/53 by visiting Norblin Factory Museum; watch multimedia exhibitions at the Art Box Experience; go to a screening at the boutique KinoGram cinema; enjoy the wide offering of the Smart Kids Planet play centre; and find out what computers branded with the distinctive apple looked like more than 40 years ago at the Apple Museum Poland. Kids can also use a hand-painted safari-style French carousel in the complex’s roofed Teodor Werner alley. The slide is yet another attraction for families visiting Norblin Factory.
