Come to MOXO. New Unique Concept at Norblin Factory
The long-awaited MOXO restaurant and music club has opened. The unique place on the map of Warsaw resides in the extraordinary interiors of the revitalised 19th century Foundry Hall of Norblin Factory. A unique menu and live music are available 7 days a week. The Nikkei philosophy has arrived in the old walls of the former factory to create a place like no other in the capital city.
Spanning 1,200 sq.m. of floor area, MOXO at Norblin Factory is a combination of modern design and industrial atmosphere created by architects from PRC Architekci and PRC Design. The interior design highlights both the uniqueness of the concept and the location, the Foundry Hall dating back to 1882. The natural austerity of the post-factory space is softened by the interior design: cosy velour sofas, bottle green and warm light, which brings out the best of charm of the historic walls. The character of the place is accentuated by preserved post-factory equipment including a three-station boiler furnace with a supporting wall-mounted crane and induction casting furnaces. The impressive ground floor space culminates in Poland’s tallest bar (8m high and 12m wide), which leaves no one indifferent. The eastern part of the historic hall has a mezzanine floor with a fan staircase, housing a second, slightly smaller bar.
At the heart of MOXO is an open-air restaurant, beating to the rhythm of Nikkei, a unique culinary fusion of two worlds, Japan and Peru. The chef and menu creator is Radosław Pelc, a passionate professional with years of experience, who has worked in many restaurants in Poland and around the world, including Fort Village in Sardinia and the restaurant of the Warsaw Sheraton Hotel. He has won many awards and distinctions, including first place at the 7th Culinary Masters Rally. The menu he has created features sushi, Peruvian ceviche, seafood, as well as fish and meat dishes. True gourmets will enjoy a unique culinary experience here, complemented by an original cocktail menu, also inspired by the philosophy of the blending of these two powerful cultures, served in both bars.
The space totals 900 sq.m. (ground floor plus mezzanine) and seats 210. With a cocktail layout, the venue can accommodate up to 600 people. Their comfort and quality service is ensured by 60 employees.
MOXO is an original project by Tomik Grewiński, one of the best known and most influential figures in the Polish music and entertainment industry, and Bertrand Jasiński, creator of such brands as Centrum Podróży, GO!Internet, Sale Zabaw Fikołki, Kuźnia Kulturalna, The Beer Store, Cook Story, Scena Kulturalna, Museum Store, and Cucina Wilanów.
“MOXO is a meeting place with delicious food, music, and good energy. We were looking for a perfect space for our concept, where we could create a unique atmosphere, and we have found it. The beautiful, redecorated 19th century Foundry Hall is breath-taking,” said Grewiński and Jasiński, investors from Amvox International, the owner of MOXO.
MOXO is a combination of tastes and sounds, and after dinner the restaurant turns into an original music club, suitable not only for regular club events but also for large concerts.
"We are very proud that our complex houses such a unique venue. MOXO is a restaurant and music club on a par with those in New York or London. The amazing design of the post-industrial hall makes an impression as soon as you enter. There is also the great food and good music performed by the most popular artists in Poland and abroad. I am sure that Warsaw will love MOXO,” said Kinga Nowakowska, Management Board Member and Chief Operating Officer of Capital Park Group.
The new face of the old Foundry is bustling seven days a week. Alongside the Piano Bar and the Food Town, this is another place at the Norblin Factory where live music plays every day. The main focus is on cyclical events featuring the best music, from club music to jazz, funk and soul. Monday is reserved for events at MOXO, but if no closed event is scheduled, the evening is held under the motto “Move On”, dedicated for everyone who likes to go out any day of the week. They will be taken care of by well-known DJs. Tuesdays offer a mix of funk & soul at its best, with the MOXO Band. On Wednesdays, women take over. Check out how the fair sex performs at the console! Thursdays are when well-known personalities take you on a personal musical journey. Musical Fridays are dedicated to fans of funk, disco and boogie, who want to start the weekend off with these rhythms. Saturdays are all about house music in all its varieties. Sunday chill brings the weekend to a gentle close and puts you in the right mood for the new week.
