Smart Kids Planet to Open at Norblin Factory
The Norblin Factory is expanding its portfolio with an offer dedicated to kids. The Smart Fun Centre Smart Kids Planet will move into the complex at Żelazna Street this autumn. The tenant will take up 1,550 sq.m. of space to set up eight areas for children combining education, traditional play, new technologies and developmental aspects. The Smart Kids Planet’s offer targets individuals, tourists, as well as institutions, such as kindergartens, schools, establishments and community centres. Work on the arrangement of space for kids at the Norblin Factory is underway.
The Smart Kids Planet is a private investment project where all elements have been designed and made in Poland. It focuses on supporting the development of future competences of kids: creativity, logical thinking, and co-operation. The Smart Fun Centre will also help kids exercise their perception, fine and gross motor skills, and spatial imagination. The innovative and interactive offer of the Centre is dedicated to children up to the age of 10. The concept will move to the Norblin Factory from its current location at PGE Narodowy.
“We were looking for a new home for our Centre for over six months, followed by another six months of design work. We have chosen the Norblin Factory because we want to be where life happens and families can spend their free time well. It is an exceptional building, easy to reach and with a unique offer, which will be naturally complemented by our Centre. We are just starting the construction and will open our doors to visitors already in autumn. We were inspired to create the Smart Kids Planet by our children: it is them that make us so passionate about creating a unique place and invite all children aged 0-10 years and their carers,” said Smart Kids Planet President Karol Gaweł.
The Smart Fun Centre Smart Kids Planet will also implement special projects and events in collaboration with organisations and companies which support smart entertainment and education. It will house a programme of after-school activities including entrepreneurship, robotics, and mindfulness.
“The Norblin Factory is a very attractive place both in terms of location in the heart of Warsaw’s Wola district and its climate of post-factory space where you simply want to be. In our complex, we focus on concepts that are unique and cannot be found anywhere else. The Smart Fun Centre Smart Kids Planet is clearly one of them. As a result, the Norblin Factory will be home to a quality and smart entertainment and education centre for children. Together we are creating a very diverse offer so customers have everything at their fingertips in one place: entertainment and culture attractions, restaurants, as well as service and retail outlets,” said Kinga Nowakowska, Member of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer of Capital Park Group responsible for the revitalisation of Norblin Factory.
