Even more art will come to the Norblin Factory
Even more art will come to the Norblin Factory
The Norblin Factory, the project implemented by the Capital Park Group, has invited for cooperation another artistic partner, which will enrich the cultural function of this place. Right next to an exceptional boutique cinema, a museum and a piano bar with live music, there will be the art gallery named Flow Art House. The gallery will present cyclical exhibitions of contemporary artists in a 250 sq.m. space specially adapted for this purpose.
In the historic space of the Norblin Factory, the Flow Art House will make its debut and will open as one of the first concepts in the third quarter of this year. The gallery’s offer includes works by renowned artists, such as Grażyna Smalej, Anna Kołodziejczyk, Katarzyna Adamek-Chase, Tomasz Prymon, Juliusz Kosin, Malina Wieczorek, Katarzyna Januszko, Ida Karkoszka, as well as works of promising young talents. The collection includes carefully selected pieces of the highest collector value in such fields as painting, sculpture and artistic photography. The headquarters of the gallery will be situated on the 2nd floor.
– The choce of this location was not a coincidence. The spaces of the Norblin Factory will be brought together by a unique, artistic energy – visual arts will be smoothly intertwined with the sounds of live music, and the spacious interior will allow visitors to freely interact with art, seven days a week, even until late at night. We want to become a part of the cultural life of the capital and enable our guests to have free contact with artistic creativity at the highest level – regardless of whether they like to contemplate it on their own or want to take part in guided tours. We also plan to actively contribute to the creation of the cultural agenda of the Norblin Factory, organizing numerous events, thanks to which we will be able to discover new talents, support artists and popularize knowledge in this area – says Marta Krajenta from Flow Art House.
Flow Art House is another cultural concept that will appear in the offer of the revitalized Norblin Factory. The gallery’s program will include: regular vernissages, exhibitions, meetings with authors, as well as theme discussions with representatives of the world of art and culture. Art auctions will also be an important element of its activity. Anyone interested in purchasing the exhibited artworks will be able to obtain professional advice from gallery representatives who will advise how to create a unique collection in a private home, company headquarters, or a public or commercial space.
- The Norblin factory will be a destination full of culture, with art present on every corner of the place. The first art exhibition, in the form of an absolutely unique mural depicting a painting by Edward Dwurnik, will be presented outside the complex, for visitors coming from Prosta Street. The ones coming from the underground car park into the center of the complex, we will be able to see the large-scale work of Pola Dwurnik. Moreover, we are also preparing even more surprises. The cinema will immerse visitors in a new dimension of screenings and will allow them to meet the most outstanding characters of the Polish movie industry. There will also be a place with live music and concerts, and many of the events we are organizing will be available to everyone free of charge. We also founded the Norblin Factory Foundation in order to support artists from various fields, thanks to which we make this place become a modern, artistic society center. Our goal is to become a thriving cultural institution and patron of the arts, marking its presence on the cultural map of Warsaw in a qualitative and valuable way – says Kinga Nowakowska, operational director and board member of the Capital Park Group, responsible for the revitalization of the Norblin Factory.
The Norblin Factory, revitalized by the Capital Park Group, is in the final stage of construction works. It will open already in the third quarter of this year, with over 65,000 sq.m. of space, 41,000 sq.m. of which will be offices, and 24,000 sq.m. will be filled with entertainment, culture, food, service and retail concepts. Among the tenants of the revitalized complex, there will be BioBazar – the first market in Poland offering only organic products or a food hall with 26 restaurant concepts (3,200 sq.m.). The office part of the complex will house Allegro.pl (16,200 sq.m.) and the Global Business Services Center Japan Tobacco International (8,500 sq.m.). The revitalized space will also become a cultural destination. There will be, among other concepts, a boutique cinema with seven screening rooms for 620 people (3,300 sq.m.), supervised by the Directors Guild of Poland, also moving their seat to the Norblin Factory. Visitors will be able to enjoy live music in the Piano Bar, and a music and concert club will be set up in one of the historic halls. The first fully interactive and digital art gallery in Poland – ART BOX Experience – will take up the area of nearly 800 sq.m.
Capital Park Group is the investor and originator of the revitalization of the Norblin Factory. PRC Architekci studio is responsible for the architectural design. The main contractor is Warbud SA, in cooperation with such companies as Soletanche Polska, Maat4 and TKT Engineering.
